Not saying it's scripted, but he knows what he's saying.

I really think the man just gets off on fricking with reporters heads.
If you've watched the Rick Rowe piece he did about the recruitment of Jermaria Rasco you get to watch how Les works on the recruiting trail sitting in their house at the kitchen table talking to their momma. And that Les Miles is nothing like the one in front of a bunch of reporters. NOTHING AT ALL.
Good series Channel 3 in Shreveport did back then. Has Mack Brown, Miles, Petrino, Muschamp, and they went to Alabama but Saban only speaks to you from his desk and never on camera so you don't get to see that one. Miles blew them all away other than Muschamp.
Point is, you get to see him as a real person talking to another person and realize he's just got to be fricking with us with his 'Milesisms' and crazy shite the rest of the time.

Les knows what he's TRYING to say. The fun is in seeing what actually comes out.
Like at the beginning of his rant last weekend. He said, "How anybody could...pick...the hammer and the nail..when in fact that hammer, or that nail, or whatever in the hell you got picked,..."
I mean, who says "picked" in that context. His voice was even shaky when he said picked the first time. But by God, the second time, he picked the work picked and went with it.
I love that guy.

Yeah that Hammer and Nail rant was him unscripted, no doubt. He definitely gets fired up after games.
