And a step forward with just about every other variable.
Les would be a fool to go Coach there.

Oh you mean when LSU had a 1k yard rusher and two 1k yard receivers? Still putting players in the first round? Remind me what non senile sec coach has done that?
Lol you are a moron, thinking recruiting in Louisiana = great coaching. And a quote by that same 1k rusher you are mentioning - "I don't see how we ever lost"

Les is contractually obligated to keep trying to get a job in order for LSU to keep paying him his buyout.

There could be worse fits than OM and Les, but not many.
Les runs a pro-style, grind-it-out and depend on superior defensive talent to win games.
OM has a dynamic QB and a boatload of 5* receivers.
perhaps he just ran this because he had superior talent at LSU? Okie St was not run the same way at all. Just FYI

The SEC school 3-12 versus Saban. And 10-52 versus Alabama?

I don't see how anyone is extremely interested just yet- not saying that no one will eventually want the job at all but just that things seem pretty chaotic at the minute and it doesn't appear to be over yet with the NCAA looming.

About 4-5 million reasons why. I agree - the burning dumpster fire that is Ole Miss football is not at all attractive. But, what Ole Miss needs right now is a veteran coach that is willing to take in several million a year to simply manage the program through the shitstorm that is coming. Nobody is expecting Ole Miss to be a winner, much less a contender, over the next several years. So, expectations would be very low and the pay very good. That isn't going to cause anyone to switch jobs to go to Ole Miss, IMHO. But, for those that are wanting the money without a bunch of pressure, it's going to be enticing for a few.

Les Miles doesn't seem like the type to go to a program that is going to be on probation for awhile. He wants to win.

I seriously doubt it. Les may be desperate but I don't think he's that desperate. Why would Ole Miss want to do that to themselves anyway. They've already fricked the whole program.

The day Miles gets hired, shea Patterson will drop 3 rounds in the draft

Agreed. Unless the NCAA lets Ole Miss off with a slap on the wrist, which looks very unlikely, they will need a caretaker coach to manage the program through the coming years and put them in position to bounce back once this is all over. If I was an up and coming coach I'd only take the job if I had an iron clad contract that guarantees me employment through the coming lean years.

I'd agree with this. If Ole Miss had won a title in the last 3 years and lost Freeze to the NFL...sure hire Les he is great with 5 star talent and an established program. I'm not sure I'd ask him to build a program....in fact he is about the last person I'd want for that.

The SEC schedule will be brutal for Les. Ole Miss will have to make him an offer he can't refuse. Ole Miss football would be miserable with Les as the coach.

Les reached out to the big money boosters at OM for hush money. he knows things and wants to spill the beans the NCAA and get OM banned for life.

Les wouldn't have to change he and snider are the best college coaches in America ! At LSU it was all (but we wanted sabin crowd ) who constantly worked against him and his recruiting he did well despite the opposition , with a onboard fanbase working with him sabin could be in trouble !
