Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette on Wednesday signed a multi-year deal with Under Armour that a source tells ESPN is one of the most valuable endorsement contracts ever for an NFL rookie.
"We have a roster of athletes that we choose and we're never going to be that company that just collects athletes just to have the most," said Ryan Kuehl, the company's senior vice president of sports marketing. "We look for special people, who have the talent, the character, the story and the sense of purpose. Leonard Fournette fits that model."
Fournette will provide Under Armour with an NFL running back -- a position that is lacking in the company's portfolio. The shoe and apparel company is most known for quarterbacks Tom Brady and Cam Newton and wide receivers, including Julio Jones and Demaryius Thomas.

He recently lost the 15 lbs gained while hurt & ran an unofficial 4.3, which he plans to duplicate in the combine. He will also take part in all of the combine.

Wow! He did all that in less than 3 weeks? Pretty impressive given how badly he was injured just 3 weeks ago. Props to him

He'll be a combine warrior. Dude has always been ahead of the pack in the athleticism department

That's weird according to this board he was garbage and overrated?
Talent, Character, Sense of Purpose. I am proud if LSU pumps out players with these characteristics.

You can be really talented and overrated. Particularly on tigerdroppings. Talented he was, once in a generation he was not. His eyes will determine how good of a professional he is, not his legs

It's a shame he will never carry the ball a down in the NFL.

So he's basically already surpassed Trent Richardson.

Under Armour is the Ed Hardy of sports apparel.

His last carry of his collegiate career was for -1 yards against Florida. It was 3rd and goal from the 1 yard line.

I'd wear Ed Hardy head to toe if they gave me millions of dollars
