But his lawyer said he didn't know anything and didn't do anything. His lawyer wouldn't have any reason to slant the truth would he?

Much like the Will Wade situation, more will come to light and Bama is going to look awful.

Byrne said that they treated it like any other incident with other players, I guess they have 3 members of most sports teams at murder scenes quite often. What a bad look to treat a murder like a kid getting a DUI.

And it's crazy too because the lawyers statement (totally unbiased no doubt) is presented as proof positive that yesterday's media uproar was grossly unfounded. The man deserves a hefty raise

Trash Bama fans all over this board said Miller did nothing wrong by taking orders from the murderer himself, and delivering the murder weapon.

Oh the lawyer’s comments are being presented as fact.

You know lawyers also give opening and closing arguments in trials, and they can say what they want (and do) alllll of the time.

“it wasn’t my client!”

And still get convicted. The attorney has the duty to protect their clients. No shite he is going to spin something publicly that makes his client look better.

The media and rival fans can kick and scream all they want to. Until he is charged with a crime, there is no reason to suspend him. The police are treating him as a witness, not an accomplice. Until that changes Miller will continue to play.

They are crucifying this kid and he isn’t being charged and has been cleared. Btw the media doesn’t give two shits about someone being murdered, all about views.

Is that the litmus test for suspending players these days? No criminal charges - no missed time?

So you don’t mind tarnishing your Universities reputation and the whole state over a Sweet 16 run? Press conferences are gonna be awkward for your autistic coach for the next few weeks. Maybe he will continue to give stellar performances.

Please tell me why he should be suspended? Not charged, done everything the authorities have asked of him. What else do you want him to do?
