Hearing both regret taking their current jobs. I think both would leave now for different jobs even at a lower salary. Never wanted to get involved in the morass of politics. Also they don't like the small towns they are having to live in. Don't mean to trigger people but that's what I'm hearing in the Sip.

Your feedback has been noted. I'll give Keith Carter a call and let him know Kiffin is on his way out according to SEC7070.

With a source as trustworthy as SEC7070, I guess it's safe to say Leach and Kiffin both love being at their Mississippi schools.

Pullman, WA is about 35,000 folks.

Leach apparently loves politics and rural Mississippi is a good fit.

Actually, I have heard through sauces(!) from here in SoFla that Lane wasn't thrilled with Ole Miss - and this was before the woke mess started. TIFWIW.

Kiffin knows he just needs to win a few games at Ole Miss and he can jump for a big Florida job.

EVERYWHERE sucks right now. Everything is closed, you cant do your job, and all there is to do is sit with your thumb up your arse.

We knew that when they were hired, but multi million dollar paychecks ease the pain.

I don't disagree. Neither are destination jobs or more desirable living locations than their previous locations (for most people IMO; many others may very well like the deep south, small/college town, heat, humidity, bugs, and general nothing to do MS vibe in either area).

Each offered more money with similar to fewer expectations. It is a paycheck job. We'll see if their hearts are in it come next Spring when football finally kicks off.

FIFY, Starkville is slightly worse than Tuscaloosa, which is fairly bad itself. Neither are worth defending. The university life is what drives the attraction to either.

Pullman and most of Eastern Washington are beautiful in their own rights. Then, add in a small town, college vibe with good infrastructure and it is no contest.

Lane says he wants see recruits but can't do to COVID-19! So he should've know this before taking the job! Oh wait the COVID-19 wasn't here when he was hired! Oh well move on to next bigger things. Missouri mostly ended up around 30s to 40s in the recruiting class yearly. So This HC is doing great to get a chance to be in the 20s in the final ranking. This is no excuses on Kiffin part for not be able to recruit better and get recruits to commit early.

Agreed, but he just said "small towns." Pullman is about as small and isolated as you can get for a P5 job. Their stadium seats like 30k

Who cares? They have contracts and a job to do.

It sounds like you are just scared of Leach.
