I did, but unless it's a BCS bowl (or playoff now) I don't think a bowl game record can really reflect how the season went. Some teams want it more than others, some teams just don't match up well against a random opponent from another conference, etc.
Don't get me wrong it's nice to bump up that win total if possible and put another trophy in the trophy case but they're mostly consolations.

Everything but the national title is consolation. However beating a ranked ACC divisional champ who def wanted it helps the season resume a little bit. A&M finished 3-4 vs ranked teams with the four losses coming to #2, 5, 8, and 14. About as much as you could ask for with a defense THAT bad. Notice we did however have the best offense and those are the guys who will go in the top 9.
