Maybe 1986 after LSU lost to Miami (OH) the previous week and we were unranked due to probation and losing to dUh U.

Lsu was ranked #18 in 1986 so I have no clue when the last time was.

Looks like 1989. In 1986, LSU was still ranked #18 after the Miami loss. The Tigers still managed to win the SEC that year.

1989 is the last time they've played and neither was ranked. So 25 years.
