Alabama has unfortunately had a long dry spell as well. Last Sweet 16 was in 2004. That team ran into Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor of Connecticut in the Elite 8 who went on to win the whole thing.
I remember Alabama and LSU routinely going to Sweet 16s when I was a kid growing up in the 80s..

hopefully we will be playing in a 4th straight. It is crazy to think of this team with the addition of Walker, they are already playing like one of the best in the country.
