I would say three weeks force teams to play name opponents early if they expect to get ranked.

Every year this happens. We all get excited before the season and eat up all the analysis, magazines, internet forums,etc. most of which is based on how teams did last year. The experts generally don't much but how could they way too many teams.

I'll bet and win easily that most intelligent reasoning fans no more about their respective teams than any expert.

Do you think Herbstreet knows who Jonah Austin is? I'm sure Mussburger has watched every play for Debo. All pure speculation until 3-5 games are played and then it still is a crap shoot just with a bit more info.

LSU has finished lower than preseason ranking four out of the last six years in AP.

LSU is second since 1989 behind FL, most over ranked SEC team according to AP
