The postgame drive to Birmingham is miserable. This is a night game, if you leave right after the game you'll get to B-ham at about 2am if you're lucky.

Wouldn't even think of making that drive after this game. If I was going to pull this feat off I would just hit the Strip post game and drink till the wee hours and then crash in my car till daylight. Get up and go to a health club, pay the day fee, pull the sss, and shag arse back to wherever you came from. Nap when you get tired at a truck stop.

This is a possibility. Maybe bring a friend that will bag a big one for us to have a place to crash

I did it after the 9-6 game. It was one of the most miserable nights of my life.

Students will probably stick around for this game, especially after Saban dogged their arse for leaving a few weeks back. Should be plenty of sorisluts for the taking on Sat. I'm guessing your ok with hearing your buddy having the sexts?

This^^

IMO closer to game time tickets may go down a bit. I've seen some in the lower level for as low as $150 per ticket.

I paid $175 per ticket for mine in row 10 of the upper level only because we have some friends sitting close to us and I don't have to worry about finding tickets when I get to T-Town.

I gave a guy in Tuscaloosa my word that I would get the tickets from him tomorrow and I'm sticking with it even though I found some $25 per ticket cheaper.

I made the trip in 2011 and my brother and I didn't decide we were going until the Tuesday of game week. I had a good night at the poker tables earlier that weekend

We found 2 tickets for face value. If I could find 2 for face value to that game, anyone should be able to find them for any game. The cheapest we had found before then though were a pair for $600.

It was the best pregame atmosphere I have ever been around. There were 350k or so people on campus that weekend and it was awesome! The game was awesome too. Rivals the 07 Florida and Auburn games.

If you do go, be sure to grab some BBQ Nachos from a place called (I think) Bad Wolf BBQ. They were so legit.

The only negative is we didn't have a room. I assumed we could get one in Merridian. It took over 3 hours just to get off campus from where we parked and when we did get there, they were completely booked out!!! The entire city!!! Ended up having to drive all the way to Jackson and didn't get a room till 5 am.

All things considered, still one of the best road trips I have ever made. I went in 09 too. Bama fans are pretty cool. Outside of the college age, which for the most part 90% of every campus's college students are ignorant of football knowledge and just douches to opposing fans. The older folks are really awesome! Best I've found outside of Starkville...which may be bc we always beat State.

Anyways, hope this helps!!!

Got a room at the Microtel. They have one room open still. Sounds like Jupiter, or something like that, is the LSU bar
