What is Miles record vs Nutt? You should focus on the whole picture and not just performance against Bama in the cajun super bowl.

Both will be at their respective schools as long as they want to be. Both are good coaches and both win too many games to be fired because of picky fans. Miles is five yrs removed from winning a NC and two from playing for another one. Both coaches fell prey to having to play against a team in n the same conference that just won three NC in four years and LSU had to play against arguably one of the best defenses in cfb history twice in one year. That does not deserve firing.

The whole picture is that Miles has more wins than any other BCS school since 2005 along with 3 SEC West titles, 2 SEC championships, 2 NC game appearances and 1 NC....along with consistently being in the top 10 in recruiting. How's that for the "whole picture"?

We get it dude, Miles obviously pissed in your wheaties or banged Mrs. Dore and you're on a smear campaign against him, but do you realize how retarded you come across when you try and impugn someone with Miles' resume? The ONLY coach that has a better resume over Miles the past few years is Saban. As an LSU fan, I have no problem stating so much. If one focuses on the "whole picture" as you state, one would see you're totally out of touch with reality. But I understand how a fan of a program like Vanderbilt with its rich tradition of winning must know a thing or two about excellence and competing with the elite.

The way the Bama-LSU series has gone down each year (1/9 notwithstanding) should secure Miles' place at LSU for a while. Just about every game is contested until the last play. It's a great series.

depends on how LSU's offense looks this year. If they continue to look like shite on that side of the ball, lose 2 or 3 regular season games, and watch Bama or aTm play in the SECCG, I think Les' days may be numbered

You could not be more wrong. LSU is one of the most lenient schools in the SEC when it comes to football coaches. LSU has never fired a football coach that didn't have at least two LOSING seasons in a row, or losing records in at least half his seasons. Compare that to Auburn (Bowden), Alabama (Shula), Georgia (Donnan), Ole Miss (Cutcliffe), Tennessee (Fulmer), Florida (Zook), etc. Charles McClendon stayed on for 18 fricking years losing 2 or 3 games a year and watching Bama win SEC and national titles while he managed only one SEC title. And, for good measure, Mac even threw in a 1-6-1 record against then arch-rival Ole Miss through his first eight years. Miles could have exactly the season you describe above every year for the rest of his career and he would NEVER be fired.

LSU was pathetic all year outside of the Bama game.

So, we were pathetic in our two wins over teams that went 11-2 and finished in the top 10?

LSU was pathetic in the "win" vs A&M, it was more about how bad A&M turned the ball over. South Carolina was a pretty meh performance not all what the fanbase made it out to be. Washington and the Bama were the only games where LSU looked like a top 10 team.

Les sure as shite has not hit a wall. We won the SEC and were in the BCSCG just 13 months ago

So, a&m's "O" just handed the ball over to LSU a few times? LSU "D" didn't do anything to cause TO's? How many takeaways did bama have VS a&m?

manziel was RUNNING for his LIFE the WHOLE game. The boy had 27 yards rushing against LSU. How many did he get VS the tide?

aggies scored TWO TDs vs LSU. They came 50+ MINUTES apart. How much time ran off the clock between aggies first and second TD VS the tide?
