The crowd won't make a difference. If Bama happens to win, it's only because of Saban.

Texas can win. The NIL+Tranfer Portal keeps them from stock piling talent. Ask LSU.

Well at least this argument won’t be available next time.. unless we get clobbered lol.. oh well, I look forward to the game.

Win or lose, I wish we played games like this every week.

These posts are getting dumb. BDS really isn’t that intimidating, and this game doesn’t even register on our hate/passion meter.

You'll have fun in the new CFB, where Bama and TX will live comfortably. We bottom feeders will start something new, not as expensive, with more members while y'all fight over what is left of the old days. 5 maybe 7 years are left in the CFB world we grew up with.

You can “yawn” all you want. But it doesn’t change the fact that The Horns have never played in front of 100,000 against them. I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about this.

They play Sooners at the State Fair as Doers played there and Utx got tired of losing. At least once they are in the SEC, they will have to play home and home.

I heard Bama's stadium is more of a wine and cheese type stadium so I'm not worried about the noise.

That actually made me laugh.

Wait till you join and your first trip to Starkville

You may want to rethink your desires. Folks down there will be tad more intense that Waco or Lubbock.

Actually that’s a great point. I first thought nah. They are Texas. They’ve been at hostile home crowds.

But when they went to Arkansas it was a shock for them it seemed. And Bama will be just as bad.

So I think that’s actually a big factor. It’s a big stage. Lots of pressure. Against an awesome team. That’s pissed as hell. And a rabid fan base wanting to make a statement.

Yeah good point.

Last time they played LSU at night?

That will be interesting.

Bama's home advantage under Saban has more to do with talent than environment

That said, the fans will be amped up today

This is what SEC fan doesn't understand. the hate factor that Big XII teams have for Texas (and OU) that has built up through the years.

Bama fans are excited but they don't have the hate in their hearts.... yet.

Bama fans are usually pretty tame but I expect them to be up for this one. Ewers does not play well on the road and that was just in Little 12 games last year

what are you talking about. we played at ohio state in front of 105k and at notre dame in front of 77k

why lie about something dumb like this?

You're right. It would be a dumb thing to lie about which is why I was careful to include the words "this Texas team" in the thread title.

Yes, Texas played in an incredibly loud and hostile environment in front of 105,000 at Ohio State in 2005 but the current Texas roster were all in diapers then so not sure how that's relevant. The 2015 game at Notre Dame they were playing pee wee or middle school football

I'll be the first to admit that the average Alabama home crowd at BDS isn't as loud or intense as Tiger Stadium, Jordan Hare, the Swamp, Neyland Stadium, Kyle Field, or Williams Brice but to say the crowd won't make any difference is a bit absurd. Using your Bulldogs as an example, the one and only time Alabama fans actually got up for State visiting Tuscaloosa (2014 when State came in ranked #1 and a trip to Atlanta was on the line) the home crowd was absolutely a factor.

Texas absolutely can win. They absolutely have the athletes and coaching to come into BDS and leave with a big win. In fact, it's that very real threat of ending Bama's long streak of home wins against non-conference opponents that will have the home crowd geared up to be a factor in the game. Should be a close game whichever way it ends up going.

I have never seen so many teams dickride Alabama like this week. It’s honestly… something pretty sure Arkansas and A&M fans are more nervous about tonight’s game than tide and longhorn fans are

God, it’s so great being feared

There are literally numerous pieces of evidence that show Texas playing on the road in front of over 100k people.

I don't know what's so hard to understand about this
