Have a similar thing in Mercedes Benz. Makes zero sense to pay to get into a game, fight the crowd in and out and then watch the game on TV in a bar. At least to me.

Agree, but colleges seem to be trying to lure corporate $$ instead of the average fan.

Why would they move the UGA vs UF game to FayetteNam?

They wanna be like the Vols. The Vols was the first to add a party deck to the upper deck that is a bar like atmosphere.

was coming to post the same thing. Cool concept but to me would make more sense at a baseball stadium than a football stadium

I believe they will sell tickets to that area as SRO.

At least that is what makes the most sense.

I like to drink beer and watch football in the shade.

This sounds like a good time.

Beer and wine are sold in the entire stadium. The suites and club areas have liquor.

This is equality. Average Joe Sidewalker will now have an option for getting in-stadium booze apart from smuggling in a pint....paying $12 for a jack and coke.

Here's to Equality.

And they will be priced at a premium, UT sold tickets to its party deck this year for $2K a seat for season tickets.

Not even fricking close.

That title belongs to Luhweeziana State University.

Every LSU poster on this site is obese or overweight. lsufball19 is every bit of 260, for instance.

This will certainly create an environment that will help the home crowd noise

Someone gets it. That place will be rowdy in big game situations.

Oddly enough, we had a facilities renovations brainstorming thread over on the rant and I'd just posted about reducing maxed out capacity in favor of social spaces like SRO bars or bartop style seating areas being sort of the next wave of renovation concepts. That's the current draw.
