It's sad and I hate it, but y'all don't know how lucky Holly Springs really was. I was in town for work and it barely missed the more heavily populated areas. That son of a bitch was big when it came through.

Craziness. They closed 55 N in Batesville just as I was leaving Sardis.

It destroyed the race track in Holly Springs, track house, shop, everything. Last I heard cars are missing from the property.

For those that don't know the area, the raceway is just a few miles south of Rust College and downtown Holly Springs (15 minutes north of Oxford). Could have been much worse.

I can't stand events like these. I just don't understand why these types of things have to happen. Prayers to all who were effected. I know we were in the closet for a while, while my little girl tore all the clothes down

It's called nature. Which we aren't separate from like most humans believe. We are nature and are intertwined with it to our detriment sometimes.

So did the storm miss the town of Holly Springs and the HBC there? This is such a damn shame. Those people in North MS are good people. God bless.
