State benefitted playing LSU and Auburn earlier in the season before they got in a groove. Consider yourselves lucky with the way your schedule has played out. Brutal 5 game stretch for the Rebs, just didn't work out, though it was close.

I don't think it really matters what the Miss State defense does because Ole Miss is either going to fumble or throw interceptions in the red zone anyway. The real question is, will Bo Wallace stick around until the final whistle in the egg bowl or will he already be in the locker room.

once in a century team...keep up the great job of gloating, it's making you look bad...

but the mdawgs are for real...good team, both sides of the ball...just win out and it will make all your gloating seem worthwhile...

The same could be said for your Alabama win, but I always viewed this as a sore argument. You'll never see a fan of the winning team create this analogy.

I could maybe see you making that point for the LSU game. But the Auburn game was the 6th game of the season.

Haven't you heard? Every MSU win is luck. And when we beat them, it's because our hatred was stronger than their love...

Auburn won games last year by luck. Not our case at all. I haven't been to any away games, but I'm pretty sure we've won all the home games by pushing everyone's shite up in the trenches.

State gave up 400 passing yards and 30+ points to UAB

This is really still being held against us? Its not obvious yet that we were playing people that aren't normally playing or that we weren't showing all of our defensive schemes?

We've played very good defensively against Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU (barring the 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes). Its safe to say we are a completely different defensive team than what we showed UAB.

Who said it was luck? MSU was the better team those days, no one said otherwise.

Quick, all of our excuses for losing to teams MSU beat are running out. Oooo I got a good one, since they didn't beat the same team at the exact same time, it can't be looked at as equal.

Which lends the unintended consequence of OM fans saying "our OM coaches aren't as good as Auburn and LSU coaches, since they developed their players over the course of a year at a much greater pace than our OM coaches did".

As a MS resident that works with nothing but State grads, I've given y'all plenty of credit. I think MSU is really good.

I still think you finish with 2 losses though. I could be wrong, definitely wouldn't be the first time.

If State wins it all, I'll congratulate my many State friends and co-workers. Probably won't congratulate anyone on this board though, this doesn't seem to be the place for that.

And but for a couple of fluke plays it would have been much more.
