He stated at one point that he was basically pledged to Saban 2 years before his announcement. Anyone who follows recruiting and isn't a corndeauxger knows it was never a legit recruiting battle. LSU thought they could get to the mother because she was a huge fan, but unfortunately for them the mother couldn't get to the son. Luckily for them she has another great one that does live with her and im sure will do work for LSU.
