Don't see what's amusing. Collins is not a suspect and he has no pattern of poor behavior. By all accounts, he's a pretty decent human being.
ETA: judging by this spring's arrest records, Tuscaloosa is not the place to go if you're trying to avoid legal trouble.

The escaping the hood comment is laughable. He went to a Catholic private highschool in BR (not hood) where he excelled at football unlike most athletes couldn't dream of. Stayed in LA with offers from Auburn, FL, FL State, Tenn, just to name a few. By all accounts from coaches, he is a great guy. All of this murder questioning stuff is bs brought on for ratings.

May be a biased article from the BR advocate from 5 months ago but if a woman, that he may of dated at one point, wasn't murdered, NOBODY would be judging his character. Great kid and he will be drafted high imo.
ETA: After re-reading that story, that kid has made it through more adversity than anyone posting here. Wish him the best once all this crap falls off the radar directly after his name gets called in the draft.

I just thought the way you formed your response was pretty funny.
It didn't have anything to do with anything else. But feel free to be a sensitive little nancy.

if you were him what would you do?
1. This is hindsight, but always get rid of the body.
quote:
There was no contact with the police on Wednesday, however, and a lieutenant with the Baton Rouge Police Department told John Kryk of the Toronto Sun that as “of this morning, detectives working the case still have not heard from” Collins or his attorney.
2. Either talk to the cops or don't talk to the cops. Leading them on right before the draft is a mistake.

If he drops because of this, it shows just how stupid character evaluations have gotten in the NFL Draft. He knows someone that got shot, that shouldn't be cause for concern for him. Any of us can know someone that gets shot. Now, if his best friend shot someone then I understand that you can be concerned about the company he keeps, but that's not the case. I can't imagine he falls from the first.

If i were him, I would hope to get undrafted, so if I clear my name I would negotiate a 1st round pick contract

Some analysts are projecting him to go now go in the 6-7th, and reports say teams are dropping him of their draft boards.
I hope to God NFL teams pass on him and end up with the Saints.

Look, I know you're hoping La'el is a monster, and that he did this so you can troll freely, but this picture is 4 years old.

Not that it really matters, but it's probably closer to 3 years old than 4.

They're in the middle of determining that but I think that would be known already if he was the father.
