This is MUCH worse.
In 2014, Kenny Hill's performance was directly related to his drinking problems and he wasn't noticeably better, giving the coaching staff cover to move Allen into the position, where he thrived.
In 2015, Kyle Allen injured his shoulder in the Mississippi State game and then reinjured it against Alabama. Kyler Murray was disciplined for the Ole Miss game, but the coaching staff, in a horrible face-saving move, left a clearly injured Kyle Allen in to throw 22 straight incompletions, then tried to parlay it into Kyler Murray starting, who turned out MUCH worse than an injured Kyle Allen...so much so that Allen took back the starting job for the last two games. After transferring, A&M basically just lost their starter right before a bowl game with a fanbase that is screaming for blood.

Why in the heck would the starting quarterback transfer?
I was not impressed with Manziel 2.0.... He had terrible accuracy and could not read defensive coverages. Kyle was the better of the two.

Whenever I feel sad about the state of LSU football I just look at what's going on at A&M and instantly feel better.
