Wait until you see him play. Unless your coaches can teach him to keep his hips lower, to play with leverage and a way to bring a mean streak out of him you will be asking them to move him to OT. Just like the Ole Miss staff told him and all of his HS coaches told him.

He really is perfect size for an OT.

He really is and can be great if he finally implements the things his HS coaches tried for years to get him to do in games. He does drills great but in games he forgets everything and tends plays straight up more often than not. As tall as he is he gets pushed around by much smaller/lighter OL. Just so you know I watched him for years and know some of the guys that coached him at MHS.

We really need depth this year on the DL, but I could see them moving him in a year or two. If he gets pushed around at OT, then I imagine they will try him at TE like Brandon Greene.

No he has really good feet, a great reach/punch and can run block. He would be a great OT if he would set his mind to it. He has it in his mind he wants to be a DL and can be great if he just commits to it 100%. I imagine if anyone can do it, it would be Bama though.

He's been extremely impressive since he arrived. Coaches expecting very big things out of him. I was critical of him before we signed him, just as you are. But reports are that he's taken well to coaching so far (even in scrimmages and not just drills). We'll see, as they expect him to play immediately.

Hell, just put him on FG blocking units and go from there.

If he gets any taller he'll be playing basketball.
