He did a LOT of footworks drills. They had him working a ton. You could tell the scouts wanted to see as much as they could.
He also said the only people he's heard he failed the physical from was the media...

Unfortunately, if you penalized people for lying on this forum, you'd never get an Auburn or LSU post, and then who would we troll and laugh at?

This happens every year, Bama has this highly thought of guy and he has injury problems (usually of the knee kind). I believe last year was Dee and Lacy, before was Trent, before that was Ingram. Don't know why they are so brittle

Supposedly it is to do with Bama practicing harder than most teams.

Just like in recruiting, they get the "Bama Bump", so it's not far fetched. Of all those first rounders, only Julio is dominating.

If he stood by his numbers at the combine, he is still likely out of the first round considering his combine numbers sucked

Such a sad little flower.

My how times are changing. GRob about to be top 5 pick and Cyko falling. Pretty soon recruits will be making that "business decision" to the Plains instead of Tuscaloosa...
AU might want to get started on that. You haven't exactly turned top five classes into first round picks. It is a massive advantage, since 2007, for Alabama in that regard.

The same Lacy that was the NFL offensive rookie of the year. Or the same Milliner that came on late as a first round DB for the Jets? Or the same Trent that went top five and had a decent first season with Cleveland. Now, there's many arguments to make here, but comparing those draft picks to Kouandjio's current predicament isn't the best place to start.

I know....I'll tell you. It's because Alabama is better than LSU at the game of football.

Typical Bama bust
Didn't Eddie Lacy just win Rookie Offensive Player of the Year?

Do you honestly believe that NFL talent evaluators give much more than 1 single shite about where a player went to college (outside of level of competition)? I'm scared that you actually do.
Also goes to show that you don't watch much actual NFL, outside of Saints games (guessing here based on geography).

I'm talking injury problems with one of their top rated picks. Milliner with the injury history, Ingram knee scope, Trent the same, Lacy injury prone throughout his career, but I always liked the way he ran. Liked Ingram too, but thought Trent was just overrated.

You got them reversed. Ingram wasn't even the best back on his on team the year he "won" the Heisman.

Is he out of shape and fat like Andre Smith was as a rookie? I think Mt cody was the same. Saban hasnt had a great track record of sending guys in real great condition to the league lately.
You're telling me fat slobs with arteries packed as tight as whale blubber aren't in condition?

Not only did he do drills he also weighed in 11 pounds lighter and looks much better. He will run the 40 at the April pro day. Some team or teams seem to really be smoke-screening this guy to pick him up later. Won't work, he will go late 1st round.
