Sucks for the guy. He may go the way of Ciron Black and Chris Faulk. Football is an unforgiving sport.

Let's keep something in mind...

Does anyone remember DaQuan Bowers? He was the #1 prospect coming out of high-school in the 2008 class, and he was predicted and scouted as the #1 player in the NFL Draft a couple of years back until everyone found out about his knee issue. He ended up being drafted in the 2nd round, 51st overall. He was able to play a couple of seasons on bum knees.

Sadly, it seems like his career is at a cross-roads and possibly near being over. He was placed on IR last year for that same knee, which kept causing him troubles.

He's obviously going to play because SOMEONE will take a shot...but how effective he will be and how long he will play are going to be major questions.

That is if this report is true. It would make sense considering how stiff he looked this year and how poorly he tested today.

It's becoming more and more obvious that Bama over trains their players.

They have nothing left by the time they enter the draft.

I'm seeing a lot of those types of comments on Twitter about Bama players and being physically "overworked" when they get to the NFL. What other players had these types of issues? I remember Andre Smith having issues but who else?

Dude, STFU. I know you're a troll, but when a young kid's career may be over, that crap gets old. I remember when a Tennessee player rolled over on Kouandjio's knee to begin with and tore his ACL, and then a bad surgery after that. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I've always thought he was very over-rated. Compared to the recent awesome offensive lineman that have gone through Bama he sure seemed to get beat a lot and generate a lot of penalites.

There were reports about king Dunlap when he went into the league. Jarvis jones got put on medical at USC. This may mean he falls in the draft but someone will draft him. It only takes one.

I really couldn't care less what his NFL career ends up being. He held about 39482973848 times this year and was a massive liability on the outside.

He was never really good at Auburn (big, but I can't believe he has lasted this long in the NFL), and I don't remember him having injury questions... You might be referring to Marcus McNeil, who had Spinal Stenosis, similar to Jarvis Jones. He had to retire a couple of seasons back due to complications of the injury.

He should have gone to a school that values the health of their players.

Simple as that.

Andre Smith has been one of the top RT in the league over the last 2-3 years, so it's not anything serious. Ingram was a 2 year starter and split time with Richardson.Richardson only started one year and split time with Lacy and Lacy only started one year and split time with Yeldon. When people say they get overworked, I don't understand that. It's no different than any other team.

Ciron Black is a good comparison. Chris Faulk will be healthy and competing for a spot next year as far as I'm aware.

Maybe an emergency butt chug op could have saved him.

My favorite thing was to twitter search King Dunlap when he was playing in Philly their fans hated him but it was hilarious

He actually had a decent season this year in San Diego by all accounts

Interesting considering Mayock last year stated many scouts are concerned drafting Bama players because they have a short shelf life. He eluded to the fact Saban runs them into the ground physically and are nearly washed up by the time they go pro.

So you have no issues at training camp, and with a grueling season?

Maybe there is hope for Cyko.
