Uf should be easy to recruit to. It's dumb for you to say otherwise.

Maybe you aren't great at reading. I said Mac may not be the world's best recruiter but he is an excellent coach.

At UF we've had both.

Good recruiters and equally shitty coaches
Exhibit A) Ron Zook
Exhibit B) Will Muschamp (made me appreciate the Zook years though)

Great coach and decent recruiter
Exhibit A) Stever Spurrier

Great recruiter and great coach
Exhibit A) Meyer

What does an "independent streak" look like?

That would be the nekkid feller running down the double yellow line on the road.

Surprised a UGA grad couldn't get that one right off.

In 2nd thought, my post was dumb, but it is the fault of the other guy for instigating it with repeating one of the dumbest ideas created by sec fans.

When you let them suck you in you become just as bad as they are. Don't get sucked in, or off if you responding to an Aggie.

You don't see in intensity in Kirby based on "all we have on his past experience"?

There are a million other things required to be a great head coach but Kirby hasn't been tested at any of them yet and there's no history to review for answers.

You don't know a damn thing about the guy.

No one knows at this point. It certainly can't be assumed he will be as good as Saban; but all great coaches had mentors and took a program on their own at some point.

We won't even know after 2016 if he is a great one even if he does have a strong season. Houston Nutt, WM, ,Dubose, Chizick, Dinardo and several other less than great coaches had at least one 10+ win season in the SEC. We'll know in 5-6 years.

Your feeble attempt at a backhanded insult to the Alabama people

Oh it wasn't a feeble attempt at all. It was just as I meant it... Truth. Others may shy away, but I will not. As brave as John Thrower was to expose Crimson machine, so shall I be.

Whole lotta stupid in this thread.

You idiots should just say Kirby has too much Bama in him and we would all agree.
