The confidence, assurance and right thinking he demonstrates to his players is why I'm thankful we have CKR as our HC (and opponents should beware of). He tells it like it is.

South Carolina didn't score another point.

He actually has a reputation of giving great locker room speeches, I hear.

Sam Behr who used to do the Allied Discount Tire commercials in Orlando was better.

It also helped that Juice Wells was out for the remainder of the game after a 17-yard TD on South Carolina's first possession of the game.

Made possible due to a missed tackle by our white walkon safety who was playing bc our all American caliber safety was out for the game. Let's call it a wash.

Contrast Kirby's halftime speech with that of SCar's Shane Beamer's halftime words...........

“We are kicking their butts,” Beamer told Gamecock radio heading into the half (CBS reported a similar comment after the half). “And we are going to continue to kick their butts.”

Who zoomed who?

He told all of them that he'd make them get a haircut just like his if they didn't win

USC don’t be Bama and use nothing but the excuses . The game was your Super Bowl you lost

He can have crows, dreadlocks, or be completely bald and even shave his nuts bare, I don't care....as long as we win.

Team didn’t really seem that inspired. When you have superior talent, you have the luxury of saying whatever you want and then pretending it made a difference.

Georgia fans when Bama beat them in 2008: "We came back in the second half. One more quarter and we win that one".

Georgia fans when Bama beat them in the 2012 SECCG: "We just ran out of time. Five more seconds and we beat you."

Georgia fans when Bama beat them in the first NC match-up: "The Refs and we prepared for Hurts and not Tua."

Georgia fans the following year: "We prepared for Tua this time and not Hurts."

Georgia fans when Bama beat them in 2020: "it was literally a covid year and shouldn't count but congrats on your scrimmage victory over us."

Georgia loses to Texas in a bowl game: "injuries and opt outs are literally the only reason we lost."

*Bama blows UGA out in the 2021 SECCG, loses two of their three top offensive playmakers (really the only offensive playmakers) then proceeds to lose the rematch a month later after leading UGA in the 4th quarter despite struggling to find the end zone the entire game...

Why do his halftime speeches always seem to get 'leaked'?

"Do you have the audio right? Can I start now? We only have 12 minutes left."

It's amazing how those speeches work so much better when you're infinitely more talented than the other team.

Juice Wells in Top 10 upsets last year against Tennessee and Clemson:

Tennessee: 11 catches for 177 yards and 1 Rushing TD.
Clemson: 9 catches for 131 yards and 2 TDs.

SC clearly needs him on the field to have an opportunity to upset a team as good as UGA. It was just unfortunate for us that we lost him early on in the game. He already had 2 catches for 32 yards and a TD on the first possession. Obviously UGA still probably wins the game, they're the better team. But his absence was huge.

Jeez, now we have sc fans saying only their injuries matter now? Our best WR didn’t even play a snap in the game.
