Good hire, he did a good job serving as recruiting coordinator here at SC.

You think the mods will create some type of forum where coaching changes can be discussed?

Even Chaney should be able to derp his way through the SEC East at UGA. Still a bad hire.

So the line will be "He is succeeding in spite of himself."

Glad we could get this sorted out ahead of time

Maybe. Probably the same time when they start regularly checking the SECr and develop a function that allows them to move a topic to the proper board if they deem it necessary.

Probably around the same time Arkansas fans stop acting like vaginas over losing Pittman.

Bro we are over Pittman, our Oline played just as good or better with a GA coaching them for the bowl game.

We are still laughing at the Chaney hire and Kirby's haircut though.

One whole game against against a 6-7 KSU team. Yeah, that's a fair comparison to his body of work.

Obligatory "And a rather large body it is..." comment.

shite... We went 10-3 with Brian frickin' Schottenheimer as our OC & Greyson Lambert at QB...

No way Chaney can be worse than him...

Well that's the line UGA used to fire Richt, and Richt is a helluva better offensive coach than Chaney ever will be.

Sons of coaching legends are typically terrible coaches.

I got to know Shane very well.

Excellent hire for UGA.

He'll eventually end-up running your recruiting and he'll work well with Jenn Jackson in the meantime.

He's a personable guy, grew-up as a student of the game, very solid recruiter, good organizer, knows his stuff. I wanna say he was born in Charleston, he's got some contacts over here for sure ... I'm not sure where Emily is from but she is a total class act in her own right.

He's an excellent hire.

How mad will your fanbase be if/when we are successful with Chaney?

not nearly as mad as georgia fans will be when his playcalling screws you over at a very inopportune time.

as i've stated before, i don't think chaney is the worst oc in the world but i definitely think you could have made a better hire.

I like it. We need a special teams coordinator and definitely need to be making better use of TE's.

As you should. I can't argue that point.
