If Mizzou was smart they'd go after an up and comer instead of someone like Tom Crean. I'd at least make someone like Archie Miller tell me no first.
that's the hope. We have a new AD. he's supposed to be good at this

Is Gregg Marshall that guy at Wichita State? I don't see how he isn't at the top of the list for every power 5 job that comes open.

Him or Archie Miller.

Yeah. And he usually is. He's turned down jobs to stay at Wichita State though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's holding out for something like Indiana when it comes open.

We can't get Marshall. He's not leaving Wichita St for any amount of money unless it's to a blue blood.

Common opinion seems to say that Archie Miller wants the OSU job

Marshall is at a basketball first school that pays like most p5 football hcs without the expectations of most P5 jobs.

WSU is a better job than all the sec teams not named Kentucky, Arkansas, or Florida.

I don't think he was fired, I think apathy took him down.

It's not, but regardless we aren't going to get him. Neither would any school in the SEC not named Kentucky.

Hope LSU can also act pretty quickly. Seems like Missouri cares more about basketball than LSU.

No, they're all similar. Only SEC programs with a national title.

True Florida is a notch below the other two historically.

Damn you. Damn you all. We did our best to keep KA in place but the rest of the SEC fricked it up.

When a decent coach turns Mizzou into a powerhouse in the SEC its not on us or Vanderbilt. We did our part. You selfish bast*rds.

Cuonzo would pull consistent top 5 classes here. The talent would be off the charts. I'm not really enamored with his in game coaching, but he'd be able to out talent pretty much everyone in this league.

The way a lot of teams are recruiting, that may not be true. At least 6-7 teams are on pace to have at least 5+ top 100 players. Mizzou may have more talent but not the gap you implied
SEC has gone the way of FB and started hiring a frickton of recruiters. Screw development right?

He'd also be an IU candidate if that opens up according to an IU booster I know

Not their #1, but hard to believe he commits to OSU until he knows where he stands with them

Marshall would be IUs pick only if they strike out with all their options. He wouldn't even be on their initial top 5
