And by this I mean switching Auburn to the East and Missouri to the West, which makes more sense geographically and would add some measure of balance as things currently stand.

The two main arguments against such a move are (1) the possibility of having an Iron Bowl rematch a week later in the SECCG and (2) the end of bama playing UT every year

The later point is pretty big imo. But I'm wondering how bama and UT fans feel now?

Many may not remember but AU actually had rivalries with UF and Tenn going way back as well, which is one of the reasons so many of us would be cool, or at least ambivalent, about such a move.

Y'all want to be our only rival. Admit it.

I'd rather keep the rivalry with UT over the one with Auburn.

Moving to the East is the only chance Auburn has at getting to Atlanta. The west is too tough for em.

Auburn hoping to get put in the weak East. Scared of the West.

I would rather move Alabama to the SEC East and get rid of the Auburn-Georgia rivalry. Plus it would be nice if Alabama didn't have to deal with the obsession from JeaLSU fans every year.

Bama is not our only rival. I don't think that's what he meant. TSIO has been shite ever since Fulmer left, minus the Mt Cody luck-job.

They're our rival. It's one of the most important rivalries in SEC history.

We're not going to stop playing. And we don't want to stop winning. You can see the dilemma here.

Who cares. It's not what Bama wants.

Alabama says this game is to be played every year, and the rest of you will like it.

Auburn has a losing record to Vanderbilt, and have lost 8/10 to Georgia. You would do no differently in the East

Of course you would. It's much less competitive.
