Investigation Discovery (one of Discovery Channel’s TV networks) is also doing a special on Hernandez that (IIRC) airs on the January 20th at 8 pm central.

Even if all this blather you posted was true, How would dismissing him from the team (the only acceptable route to take) have helped rehabilitate him?

That's stuff is for real. The tinfoil theory on this thread doesn't seem to be in the same category.

I do believe Meyer knew he was a problem, but it is silly to believe that a shooting was covered up. The police can't solve shooting all the time, because people refuse to "snitch".

As a TFr at Flarda, Hernandez shot a guy over something stupid, maybe during the time Summer workouts were taking place, well before the Season

Anyway for some reason the victim that was shot decided not to press charges, or decided he wasn't going to cooperate with Law Enforcement to help secure a conviction

It is believed that an influential Flarda Alum paid the victim to make the incident go away

Is this accurate?

Anyone have a corroborating link?

There is a podcast on this and the netflix documentary may be pulling from it.

If this documentary is anything like the podcast it makes Urban Meyer look REALLY bad.

its a mix of two different cases. one involving Hernandez in 2013 and one, while at UF, where someone said he did it, but was later proven to be false

Putting him into the "system" where he deserved to be, might have rehabilitated him, after all when poor folks with no talent commit crimes that's what all the experts say

I believe he was more of a sociopath, in which case his enviornment very much plays a part. I do think the damage was done before UF, but his talent plays right into the narcisstic characteristic. So that didn't help. I will watch this.
