What does my post have to do about LSU? I was talking about the Bama play by play guy, who I generally think does a good job. And obviously, I said I was listening to it on the radio, so I was not watching it. I have no idea if his whining was justified. Just that it was unusual to hear a play by play guy calling out penalties during a play, and not by the color guy or even himself after the play. It was almost as if it was the most important part of the play to him. Not the yards gained or what the type of play was.

Look at it this way. You were a parent (SEC office) and you had a bunch of kids (SEC teams). Some of those kids were attractive, bright, polite, etc. (Alabama, Florida and a couple of others), but some were ugly, rude, whiny, complaining and disliked in general (LSU, Auburn and a couple of others). Now, regardless of how much you denied any favoritism, deep down inside you couldn't help but to favor the "good" kids....see the problem there?

That's pretty weak holding. Technically, yeah but barely grasping at the back of the jersey after already getting beat. I see way worse all the time that doesn't get called.
