agree. you have to understand, Patton that many are eager to see Saban and Bama fail. it's just the way it is. also, please understand that I really hate Alabama football but as long as you get that av pic I am a huge fan of yours and will upvote every post you make.

Not ready to throw in the towel just yet. One thing he does that is a problem is that he gets greedy. In three pivotal games (Ole Miss this year and last and Ohio State) he has the QB throw a long pass where one is not needed. In all three instance the ball was intercepted. IMO these plays cost us the game each time.

Their offense has been pretty good the past few years. Kirby Smart's defense has been sub par for a while now.
But Saban would rather retire than admit his defense is the issue with Alabama.

I said it last nite, but it bears repeating:
Bama has 3 very highly-paid defensive backs coaches on staff, yet our secondary is absolutely putrid when it comes to fundamentals. Kiffin had a bad nite, but Saban and Smart's secondary has been lousy for the past couple of years.
