Damn, so Steele sees the sunken ship that is Les at L5U and told them to frick OFF

One way to see this is that Steele thinks Gus is in a more stable position than Les.

Its by no means the correct way to see this situation, but its one way.

Or Les knows he has a better coach on his staff (Orgeron) and decided to promote him. It may be the reason Coach O didn't take the USCw DC job.

Plus Steele's brother works at Auburn.

If true it could be bad news for Miles. They need to replace the OC and with The DC leaving there is no reason to keep Miles. They will have less buyouts right now.

Staggeringly, O is undefeated as a DC.

Which wouldn't make much sense.

Given that we play in a conference with good defenses and not much offense
Did you just wake up from a long coma?

We play our division and Florida every year. Of those teams

Alabama
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Florida
LSU

all had better defenses than offenses.

Ole Miss
Auburn
MSU

were about equally good (or bad) on both sides of the ball.

Alabama, and maybe to an extent Ole Miss, were the only two good offenses we played in the SEC this year.
