Lol at aggy making it seem like Texas baseball success was so long ago.

Unless aggy fan is 10 years old (which judging by the way they post is a possibility), they've actually seen the Horns win a title on the diamond.

Hell, even in the young history of TD Ameritrade, Texas has won as many games in that park as a&m has won in Omaha...ever.

Which has nothing to do with this thread.
But thanks for the history lesson.
Best of luck to your t-shirt team with their search.

It has a lot to do with this thread. Texas has more pulling power in a baseball coaching search than most schools.

Aggy, you seem like the progressive liberals. If the history is unkind to you, you want to pretend it didn't exist. Let's take it out of the books, right?

T shirt team? No thanks. I'm a graduate of LSU. I'm just in a state with some idiots in which the common denominator is they support a&m.

Which is the opposite of what this thread is about. They're 0-3 so far.

They aren't ruling anything at the moment. Haven't been relevant in the Big 12 for several years now...

I mean, I don't disagree that UT sucked something awful this year, but they were just in the CWS in 2014 and won the Big 12 tournament championship last season. I wouldn't call that being irrelevant in the Big 12 for years...

Really? I didn't know you were making official offers. Let me know who is next on their list.

Would have probably jumped. Austin is the better than Gainsville. I so want UT to come to the SEC. The amount of rustled jimmies would be worth it.

I'm not the one obsessing who my rival hires as a baseball coach.

Is the 2015 really something you want to hang your hat on? 30-27 (11-13), RPI of 88, and 2nQ in the tourney. You got hot for 4 games and beat 1 decent team. The other 2 had RPIs of 80, 124, 124.

Disclosure, I'm not a UT fan (LSU grad)...I just happened to marry into a family of nothing but UT graduates (something like 3 generations of everyone going there). So I have to hear about UT on a damn near daily basis.

I was just saying their recent accomplishments in regards to the other poster saying they have been irrelevant for years, which just isn't true. They haven't been as good as they historically have been in recent years, but far from irrelevant.

Augie should have stepped down a few years ago. The CWS run was pretty fluky as well, they really just got hot at the end of the year.

Actual Kentucky fans hate Louisville, just like Florida fans hate the girls' school, South Carolina fans hate the taters, Missouri fans hate the beakers, and both A&M and Arkansas hate the steers and queers.

Yeah Austin is better than just about any college town, but way to damn overcrowded. Like everywhere else that is awesome.

Yeah I was wondering that too. It's like he just said A&M twice.
