Seems to lose or get swept in weekend series vs UK in Lexington.

He's probably has more CWS appearances than those 2 combined in fewer years.

Lopez made 2 CWS in 4 years at UF. Won the SEC in 96&98 He won titles at pepperdine and Arizona.
McMahon made CWS once in 6 year's. Won the SEC in 2005
Sullivan in 9 years has won the SEC/SECT 4 total Times. He's made the CWS 3 times. He's a great recruiter but his teams choke in crunch time. He's made the CWS in the same year tenure wise as both Lopez and McMahon did. He has one more SECT.

Your numbers are off. He's made the CWS 5 of the 9 years he's coached at UF.

Great coach, has UF playing for a spot in Omaha every year. Haters gonna hate, but locking down coaches for extended years like this is a great move.

No I think TJ might be spot on with this one. The guy can't coach under the pressure of the tournament. Another dumb decision by Florida brass.

Kind of worried he's basically trying to lock in his vision prior to stepping down-- tying the new ADs hands. God, I hope he doesn't do something super stupid like offer Mac a guaranteed extension if we beat the Dawgs.

Maybe, but still nowhere near as dumb as the decision to invest in real estate inside your head. Been going down in value for years now with no chance of recovering our initial investment. That is why they have write offs I guess.
