Kentucky starts with a cupcake vs. Louisiana, but then they play @South Carolina, followed by Florida and Mizzou in Lexington.

Does any other team have such a brutal September? Also seems kind of odd to have so many conference games that early in the season.

It's ok to talk about football, Cat.

That is if you have the ability to talk about football. The only thing you seem to be able to discuss is yourself.

Ummm, I think

UNC, UK, @UGA, UCF
BGU, OU, WCU, @UF
UL, JSU, @LSU, MSU

are far worse

Not as brutal as that stretch Arkansas had at the end of last year where they had to play an 8-5 LSU, a banged up 9-4 Ole Miss and a 6-7 Texas. Thank God none of us have that gauntlet.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit for them to go 3-1 with that. Think they finally beat Florida.

Meh. Beating a top 5 team for the second the next week helped us forget about it

Ole Miss played Presbyterian and then had a bye before us. How could anybody expect them to come out of that gauntlet unscathed.

True, but starting the season with 3 conference opponents is also weird.

McElwain may very well turn out to be a decent coach (I don't think so), but it's going to get worse before it gets better.
