Well the problem is if they don't go pro they won't have a spot on the team. Cal recruits like all the guys are gonna go 1 and done, something has to give if they don't

True which is messed up.
I think Cal has to have a better balance of One-n-Done and experienced players. I don't this the depth is there in older players as has been the case in precious years? I could be wrong though
When they won it all 2 years ago, he had Davis, MKG, Teague, and Wiltjer as freshmen. But you had Jones, Miller and Lamb as 2nd or later year players.
This year, you have the great group of freshmen and WCS And Poythress as contributing returners. I think you need a guard as a leader, and this team doesn't have one with experience who plays more than mop up minutes.

Belmont is definitely trending upward.
They'll be a tourney team and I wouldn't be surprised if they make a run. They already beat UNC in Chapel Hill. They're an experienced team that can shoot the three. That's exactly how Gonzaga made their name.
But like I've said from day one, this team reminds me of Knight and Co. And they struggled clear into conference play. I'm at least glad to see Randle going today.
Of course we've been waiting for the rest of the SEC to pick up the slack. Does Auburn even have a job in basketball?

Who do you think is responsible for lowering the conference RPI?

Who actually schedules someone to have the conference RPI where it is?

And a Mizzou fan struggles with context.
Maybe you guys should go burn something. You're at least champs at that.

It's no preseason 40-0, but we'll take it.

UF is gonna be the best team in the SEC again this year

That would be our job, thank you

I don't think it's scheduling but when you lose to teams no one knew existed like USCe did it has a negative impact on every team that plays them and God forbid you lose to USCe, you're completely screwed

All that matters is where you finish in March. How's Haith in that month by the way?
I don't think it's a stretch to say UF is the better team right now though. We'll see where we are when we get to that point though.

I think you need veteran guards to be really successful in college basketball. Of course, there are always exceptions, but Kentucky's backcourt will be problematic down the stretch IMO. Despite that, Kentucky will still be very good

Well I don't think we're headed to the NIT, so at least we have that over Kentucky?
You have to make the tourney to have a chance to make any noise :/

Trying to take the head troll award away from a couple of other Missouri posters, huh.
If you read what I was responding to you, you would know the context.

Wasn't this the problem last year? What happened to the guy Cal was always bitching at? I know he wasn't a senior? What's the Kentucky word for "processed"

Ah, the good ol' "nothing else in basketball history counts except last year" Mizzou defense. Keep it coming. Maybe one year you'll finally get to see a Final Four banner except for the ones hanging in other SEC venues.
