I think LSU's biggest advantage in the game is the left side of its OL

Wrinkle alert:

Jerald Hakwins mostly plays — and starts — at right tackle for LSU.

He makes cameos at left tight end.

Hawkins has occasionally moved from his spot at right tackle to the left side of the line, aligning beside left tackle La’el Collins. During these one-play instances, LSU normally runs to the left behind Collins and Hawkins, a pair of players who combine to weigh more than 625 pounds.

LSU coach Les Miles calls the look “deceptive” and says that the formation switch sometimes gives the Tigers a “numbers advantage.”

“It gives us a little bit more bulk on that side,” left guard Vadal Alexander said.

Hawkins has lined up at the left tight end spot at least twice in each of the past two games so there’s a good chance he’ll do it again Saturday night when LSU (5-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) hosts Kentucky (5-1, 2-1).

He doesn’t mind.

“Feels pretty good, me and La’el (Collins) along side each other,” Hawkins said.

I figure if Les is putting it out in the paper, he's trying to set something else up - or not.

The old double reverse end around psychological mind frick routine.

AKA a normal Thursday for Les.

Can we please wait for Arkansas to win a game before we say how good they are. Just because they played the Aggies close , doesn't make them great. The decline is real.

Which ranking is this, btw? The one I found had LSU 10 and UK 64, which is still a huge disparity.

I looked it up at teamrankings.com.

The OTHER teamrankings.com

#20 Baylor
0-5 SMU (AAC)
3-3 NWST (FCS school)
3-4 Buffalo (MAC)
2-4 Iowa State
2-4 Texas
4-1 TCU

14-21 and that is #20 and only 1 team has a winning record?

Ahh, I somehow went to the "strength of schedule power ratings." I assume because I googled it wrong.

This is key. Of course, the absolutely manhandling of LSU by AU and MSU (don't let the score fool you, it wasn't that close) plays a big part in the PPGs you see above.
