Well, it's not wrong. Not sure why you would think that.

They have been selling naming rights to stadiums all over this country for 30+ years and it has largely stayed out of the college venues.
So because Kentucky did it everyone else is now going to do it?
please...

For as much as you bitch about UK fans so much as mentioning anything about Mizzou you sure have been dragging your taint over anything UK lately.

Kentucky isn't the first, stop trying to dramatize it. It's basically a way to make money, and you can bet every AD is hungry for more money, so yes, they will all do it given the right partners and financial gain. It's dumb to think otherwise.

I dont care belle.
You have a couple of long time posters that have been dragging their taint over Mizzou for years.

Naming rights to stadiums and arenas have been sold for over 30 years in this country with little in the college sector.
You can ignore that all you want. College ADs have always needed money, always but have yet to break into selling their souls.

I call Kentucky "One of only 3 teams to never play in the SEC Championship game along with Ole Miss and Vanderbilt U."

What is UK getting paid for this?

Kentucky football, brought to you by Viagra

Nothing actually. Naming rights to Commonweath were part of the 300 million dollar deal they signed with JMI 3 or 4 years ago. JMI has just been sitting on the rights the whole time.

We did it for baseball. Blue Bell is an Aggie owned and delicious company. It was well worth it to make the transformation happen.
That would explain all the E. coli and Listeria in the damn ice cream.
