I don't see the issue. AU basketball doesn't ever do this, so a court storming was going to happen. Get your players out of harms way if possible, he knew it was a L at that point.

Not to mention the students even waited so that the players could at least have their moment. Someone cued them to rush the court. Could have even been a player.

Letting them leave the court, like a Auburn did, really is the best option in that case.
