In retrospect it should've been a late hit because the play was dead. But I'm not sure how he was supposed to stop himself in full momentum in mid-air to avoid it.

About time Kentucky got some players who would get nasty and be intimidators, rather than intimidated.
Regie Meant is a Haitian kid from Cape Coral and this won't be the last time he gets nasty with an opponent.
Frankly, I hope more of UK's players develop that nasty attitude.

Everyone knows that if that had been a UF player the following would have happened...
1) SECR blows up about Gator TPOS
2) 430 flags fly as all refs within 300 miles throw all their available flags
The far away angle isn't as damning as the close up.
That was a spear. It was very dirty and dangerous.
