Yes, we would outdraw A&M in Houston
That's hilarious. It would be 70/30 A&M

More like 80/20 Kentucky. I've never seen a fan base that travels like Kentucky basketball.

Don't take our word for it. Ask the other fans on here.

There are 150,000 A&M alumni in Harris county and its 90 minutes from our campus. We have more living alumni in the Houston area than many schools have total graduates in their history.
Just stop

Poll thread started somwe can keep the trash talk in here focused on tomorrow's matchup.

Y'all still lost to us lol. Don't think you're some powerhouse basketball team just bc you make the championship game in a power 5 conference. The league is down this year. Y'all gonna be sittin on your couches watching Mich st, UNC, and those schools after y'all get beat in the second round or maybe make y'all luck out and make the sweet 16. A&M and UK are mediocre teams compared to the other obvious power houses

Looking forward to this game.

Why did SEC network list the game
2 Kentucky vs Texas A&M? Can they not even list someone else is number 1 seed beside UK?

So we can outsell opposing fans in Alaska, Bermuda, Hawaii, Europe, but somehow Houston TX is beyond the reach of our fans. Y'all are idiots. Your alumni base means dick when those 150,000 won't drive 90 minutes for a basketball game. Meanwhile half the state of Kentucky would e down there just to sit in the bars to celebrate and say they were in Houston for the game. You know, just like you see in Nashville this weekend.
You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the proximity to your campus makes a fricking difference to us.

Exactly. But you're not doing that in our backyard

Cool story. I've seen with my own fricking eyes how well the blue nation travels and it isn't even close to not just A&M, but any fanbase. It's a stupid argument though because you won't change your mind and I won't either so I'm out of dis thray.

Um, this was the first year that Cock fans outnumbered UK fans in their own coliseum and it wasn't by a wide margin. If there're seats to be had, UK fans will take them.
Let's say that the Aggies decided to play UK in Houston instead of Reed the next time the Cats travel to Texas. If Aggie basketball fans are traditionally walk-up fans, you've lost the attendance contest before you start.
Some cities are favorite travel destinations for Cat fans. Houston is on that list.
Hardcore fans plan their vacations around the Cats' away schedule. There are so many that can't get into Rupp Arena, the only opportunity for seeing them live is in the opponents' gyms.
So, the only way to keep the Cats out of your house is to plan ahead, far ahead, of the scheduled game. Otherwise, get used to the Big Blue Mist.

Yeah, no way ATM outdraws UK except maybe in College Station, and that would be close to 50/50.

This is a good match up--conference co-champs and it will all be settled tomorrow. It was supposed to work out this way.

quote:So after 100 years plus of basketball when we've played in another schools backyard and ALWAYS outdrawn them in their own backyard, Texas A&M has magically figured out how to beat us to the punch? Well then I guess congratulations.
Exactly. But you're not doing that in our backyard
Again for the umpteenth time, y'all stupidly seem to think that proximity fricking matters to us. All that does is guarantee that you won't look completely embarrassing as a fan base on the TV cameras.
We've gone toe to toe with much bigger and much more passionate-for-basketball fan bases and won every time. Y'all ain't shite. Just watch and learn tomorrow.
When you say "Well Nashville is closer to Kentucky...." well no shite. The difference is that doesn't make a fricking difference. It could be in Tijuana, it doesn't make a difference to us. The fact that you say you could show up in Houston but other cities you immediately cede the argument means you've already lost.

Seeing as how you played college station this year and it was around 80/20 in favor of us, I think you're overconfident.

You played in College Station two weeks ago and had less than 500 fans in the building.
So fricking stupid

So, y'all could not keep out UK fans in your own crib. Thanks for proving the point that UK travel. Silly Aggie.
