Willis has been a shite defender for awhile but Gabriel is coming along and becoming more consistent. He should get the bulk of the minutes at this point at the 4.
I disagree that this team is helpless. They've played more disciplined tonight then they have in awhile.

They're up by almost 20 at the half in a game that would be easy to not hustle in and potentially still win.
I'd be more concerned if they weren't getting after it defensively. They are.

You can say that again.
However, this season in taking on the complexion of the 2013-14 team. That year y'all were struggling big, but somehow you made it all the way to the NC Game. Call it the Calipari magic. I think it'll happen again--you've got a great nucleus with Briscoe, Adebayo, Monk, Hawkins, etc. This team should win every night and should NEVER struggle vs. poor teams.

Well, a win is a win, but if a win can leave a bad taste in your mouth, the game last night would.
They played decent for part of the game, but faltered late. This doesn't change my assessment that a first or 2nd round exit in March is coming.

watching game last night they won't make it past the first weekend if they play like that
you need one and dones to win but Cal is sacrificing the program by not having older guys to lead

Agreed. This is the worst LSU bball team we've had in years and not to mention worst coach in SEC history and we were able to get it to within 6 under a minute to go at Rupp. I was very surprised. I don't think it really means that much for Kentucky's potential down the road however, just didn't play focused last night and didn't show up against an inspired UF at home. It happens.
