cas4t, I know that millions are on the line and I know he had a gimped ankle part of the year. The point is that injury could bite you in week one and cost you money. I guess everyone has an opinion and I just don't like it. Would feel the same if it was a Bama player. I will drop it though.

There's a little difference between a week one game when you still have everything to play for and a 10 am exhibition game dumb redneck dicklicker

Aw, that sucks. I hope his injury isn't as bad a feared and he still gets drafted.

He may not get the payday he was hoping for as a rookie but he's a great player and hopefully he'll be able to be successful to get his big money on his next contract.

I don't think there's any way he drops that far. A torn ACL isn't what it used to be. He likely won't play next year, but with modern sports medicine and access to the top rehab specialists in the world, he'll be fine. It does suck though, and you can certainly see why some players don't risk it and just leave early.

Jaylon Smith tore both his ACL and LCL and was still chosen 34th overall this past year.

People bashing Leonard Fournette and Christian Mac for skipping the bowl game should step back and look at the bigger picture. Take this, for example, and Jaylon Smith for an even better example...

If you are afraid of getting hurt then football is probably not for you. Their decision though

Well Fournette already is hurt so.....

He also lost millions in guaranteed money dropping much lower than he would have been drafted otherwise.

Good points. It's a shame for sure. Hopefully it turns out to just be a short-term setback and he goes on to have a solid pro career and make the big money. He has the talent for it. Prayers sent.

Yeah but Jaylon Smith would have been a top 5 pick if he would have never gotten injured. Beckwith would have been a 2nd or 3rd rounder without the injury. I still think he gets drafted no earlier than the 5th round now.

I think most of the beef with Fournette is him turning pro before the game and not going with his team. I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but I can see how fans might be disappointed in that.

Allow me to explain corndog. Am I happy to hear of Beckwith being injured, no. But all of those posts were in response to the incessant b.s. you morons spewed for months.
I made a joke about Beckwith because Jordan Scarlett ran his arse over, not because he was injured.

LINK

In closing f*ck you, and f*ck LSU, you whiny bitches got what you deserved, for talking so much shite.
You got 16-10, Cajun Fred Flinstone as your coach, and Joe Alleva, the unmitigated moron that he is as your A.D.

I hate it for him. He is a Helluva ball player and a tackling machine. Hopefully, he will recover quickly and someone will still pick him up and give him a shot. I think he would be a steal in the draft.

And btw, Scarlett did not run over beckwith. Beckwith was injured in the first half when Florida had about 30 yards of offense

Terrible terrible news.. he came back his senior year and had an incredible season for us. He would have been drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round and now he's probably looking at 6th or 7th. May not even get drafted. Hearing this ruined my damn day

All these trolls on here need to read this carefully and think before you bash LF or Christian Mcaffrey.
