And they are probably going to look even worse against FSU. FSU will be the most complete and balanced offense Auburn has seen all year.

I mean, they'll put points up, but I also feel like their numbers are a little inflated as well going up against some weak competition. You put 80 up on Idaho, that's going to help the stats.

Kind of hard to not be a little arrogant when even Auburn's coaches are acknowledging him a certain way (yea I know he coached him last year)

Justin Hokanson ?@JHokanson 1h
#Auburn WR coach Dameyune Craig said of five-star signee D'haquille Williams, "he's our Jameis Winston...he's a once in a lifetime player."

Yes, I hope Auburn players are expecting to only handle one player. If I was Gus, Id be really worried after watching Bama get dismantled by Oklahoma.

Forgetting that half Bamas IB points came off AU mistakes again eh?

Can't expect much more from the guy who started the " which school has the hottest guys" thread, I guess.

Of course, this game comes down to FSU stopping the run (where they are ranked 13th in rushing D; Auburn having the no. 1 rushing offense in the country).

last team Auburn played was 14th in the nation in rushing defense prior to playing Auburn. Auburn ran for 545 yards.

let that sink in.

Missouri for reference is pretty balanced. look at their first Downs, 160 from rushing and 156 from passing.

FSU is 132 and 184.

Auburn has played balance. and fwiw James Franklin averaged 303 total yards of offense per game for his 9 games this season. JW 308 yards per game.

Auburn did pretty good against a a great team in Mossouri whose only loss was a fg hitting the upright in OT and who has a stout defense with nfl talent and very very tall WRs and a great rb.

Now sure Franklin had a bad game last night as did his WRs but that happens often times after a long layoff.

FSU LB Telvin Smith

Will have 16+ tackles

FSU WR Kelvin Benjamin

100+ yards receiving 2 TDs

FSU QB Winston

300+ total yards, 5 total TDs

ETA: But seriously, I feel less confident about FSU after seeing these comments. Poor form on their part IMO. But my team hasn't played in the title game since I've been alive, so I really don't know.

Missouri put up 42 points and over 500 yards. How did your defense play "pretty good"?

AU's D didn't give up 42. If I recall correctly, it was 28.

They also made key stops when needed. AU's D gives up a lot of yards to everyone. Red-zone and scoring D are the only stats that matter.

i didnt say Auburns defense did pretty good, they did their job, as a whole Auburn did pretty good.

against a very good team who wouldve been in the bcsncg if theyd won Auburn won 59-42 and went on a 31-14 run in the second half, 28-7 of it was in the final 18 minutes.

the defense gave up yards but yards don't equal points.

BTW same Missouri team had a great defense last night especially when you consider how much their offense struggled to be in sync.

Outside of our OL vs MSU and DL against LSU we have controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball against everyone on our schedule. FSU is strong there too but hasn't been tested by the same level of competition. It is my opinion that we will control the LOS and win a close one.

Don't forget, the 2010 defense was maligned too. Heck, to this day. But in the last 3 quarters of the IB, the SECCG and BCSNCG against Oregon, they only allowed 4 TDs. 4 TDs in 11 quarters of championship ball ain't bad.

Are we talking about the same Cam who never passed up a chance to faux rip open his button down to expose the faux S on his chest? Nah....he never exhibited any arrogance.
