Having worked corporate sponsorship deals I can tell you Pepsi is MUCH easier to work with than Coke on strictly a relationship level. Coke is pretty freaking demanding in their requirements for excusivity to the point of cultish scary. I would be willing to bet UA is making a lot more $$ on this deal. And all you guys saying Pepsi is Yankee.... It was invented in the Carolinas for gods sake.

Literally laughing. I prefer Pepsi over Coke because every single person growing up in Arkansas drank Coke.

Pepsi may as well not exist in south Louisiana. Baton Rouge has one of the larger coke distribution centers so it's everywhere.

Huge Coca Cola Bottling plant 3 mins from the old High School in Ark. Everything was always Coke.

Pepsi products means Mtn. Dew right? If so that's sweet. DP and Dew are my two favorite drinks.

Isn't that just a lesser kind of coke, like sprite or Dr. Pepper.
"I'd like that with a coke."
"We don't serve coke."
"It's all coke, gimme the purple one."

Yep. Nothing wrong with Mountain Dew. That would be the only reason I would be excited for Pepsi products.

Pepsi pulled this same thing at Alabama a few years ago. The problem was that when it went public the athletic dept shut down the part of the contract for BDS and it stayed Coke while the rest of the campus went Pepsi.
