Damn what a come back by the Bull Dogs. More importantly, what a play by Childs to seal the game with 15 seconds to go.

Only thing that ruined it was the "childs please" remark

It was a hell of a game. I thought we were in trouble going into overtime against them but our offense just wouldn't be denied when they decided to move the ball

I think your secondary is going to get worked, but your defense will stop their offense, more than they will stop your offense.

Plus, ARKY's rush DEF didn't look to good..

uhhh we held them to 131 rushing yards and sacked the QB 6 times against what was arguably the number one OLine in the country, but I guess that could be construed as 'didnt look good' somewhere.

The sad thing we could have easily won that game or sent it into OT with rational play calling on 3rd and 4. Instead Bobo sends 2 go patterns deep with a TE across the deep middle and no short outlet for Murray. Hell we would have been better off with 2 running plays going for the 1st down on 4th down if we had to. We dominated the time of possession in the game (Arkansas D was tired) and had one more first down. Not really a bad showing considering we have a bunch of key players out: Green, Caleb King, starting OG, Chris Davis, starting DB and return man, Branden Boykin and starting FB, Shaun Chapas.

The defense is getting better in spite of the missed assignments and the Murray could open up the offense if Richt would adapt and take advantage of Murray's mobility in more of a spread option offense. I figure we will probably lose 2 more games and end up 8-4.

I think Murray is a good talent, I disagree that he has to be in a spread option type of attack. That kid has the ability to run the option and be a pocket passer. IMO, he will be very good some day.

i think Murray would be all world if you could give him some dump off routes....They would only give him deep outs, which he can throw but damn you have to give him something to dump the ball off to if those routes are double covered

The question will be can we pick up the blitzes long enough to hit the underneath routes.

That will be the key factor in the game IMO. The Arky OL vs. the blitzes that you know will be numerous and from eleventy billion different angles.

Everyone talks about the Arky WRs vs. the Bama DBs, but that matchup won't matter very much if Mallett is constantly running for his life.

Its the only matchup that will slow our offense down. Their CB's are good and athletic but inexperienced while our WR are great athletic and experienced. If they don't get to mallett quick and often we could possibly win this game
