God he's amazing. Wears the emotions right there on the sleeve. He's definitely the anti-Saban. Good for college football, that's for sure.

For the record, no question was asked of Les before that, about Shep or anyone else. He opened the presser with that.

Miles is a little strange no doubt

He said what he had to say and got his point across about people calling some players flops. He said it and then he moved on. Some coaches we know would continue to try and belittle a reporter in front on a television audience like a bitch. Miles moved on to happier things because he is not a person to belittle others.

i think someone said the baton rouge advocate had an article about russell shepard's career being a flop. i guess it was a sort of a preemptive strike making sure reporters dont ask stupid fricking questions like that. that or he wanted to publicly call out that douchebag of a writer

There was. I thought it was a pretty shitty thing to publish on Senior Day.

I don't often post, but when I do, it is to compliment Les Miles. What he said about his players was from the heart.

Good to see other schools' fans acknowledging our coach. Yes he's eccentric, yes he says peculiar things, yes he mismanages games on occasion, but underneath it all, he's a genuinely good hearted man. Those of us who live in BR and associate with people who know him or come across him from time to time have nothing but good to say of him. He is a great positive for our school, community and state, not to mention the SEC. We won't be able to replace him once he retires.

this. I cherish every game he is on the sidelines for LSU. Love the man and don't care if someone doesn't like that

Miles is awesome. I gotta admit, he is my favorite coach of any team in the country. Dude is batshit crazy at times, but loves his players, team, and university and is not afraid to show it and have some fun in the process.
