Lol when you are number one and have had the bullseye in your back for the better part of 3 years a game against number 19 with 2 losses is just another game...sorry to burst your bubble.

I realize lsu needs to have the superbowl mindset or they well get embarrased at home. Bama will just do bama. No trash talk and let the play speak for itself

I can't wait until next Saturday night in tiger stadium. It's going to be an awesome environment and a great game...again. shite, everytime saban has been to death valley bama has had a tough time with lsu, even with the inept offenses and poor qb play lsu has had in some of those games. This game will be hard fought for the full 60 minutes. It wouldn't surprise me at all if lsu wins this game.

I made a thread about LSU delusion, this belongs there as more evidence.

This game has zero hype outside of Louisiana. Even last year when LSU was unbeaten not many folks cared. I know it's non stop in LA but the Alabama game is talked year round there.

There has been almost zero talk of this game in Alabama.
Maybe we'll hear some next week.

Lsu-Bama has had merit every year from 2008 forward.

Great game. Great traditions. Great rivalry over last decade and a half.

Traditional Bama Ds matchup well against LSUs attack. But, Bama is missing the size and depth in the front 7 they have had in the past. If LSU can establish the pass to free up the inside run, this becomes a dangerous game for Bama. Not to mention, LSU plays the spread and read option teams well; it will take a passing attack or an old fashion battle of the trenches, three yards and a cloud of dust, ball control type of performance to leave with the W.

Fortunately, Bama is and generally has been a better big game road team than home team.

Looking forward to another great matchup. either way.

What?

LSU was #2 and undefeated last year. Then, Bama destroyed us and went on to win a National Championship and LSU fell apart.

But, it isn't like LSU has been down for a long time. 7-0, ranked #2, and playing for it all late in the season happened just LAST YEAR.

Geez.

This is going to be a good game whether you guys want to admit it or not. A lose to LSU is huge for LSUs season and would be huge for momentum of the program. Would also be one game closer to getting bama to that number 2 lose. Idk who else would beat y'all maybe auburn but that wouldn't be the best for LSU's SEC chances either unless they lose one somewhere. This will be the first game against bama with out that horrible offense Les has thrown out there the last few years and we've managed to keep it close in a couple of them even with that terrible predictable offense. We'll see what happens but I believe LSU is ready to turn this around. We'll see

OP is wrong. Game was bigger last year LSU entered 7-0 Bama 7-1?? Both top 5.
Also bigger for sure in '11 and 12 and arguably most other recent years as well.

That why bama continues to schedule its bye week before LSU? Because it's business as usual...

If you would look at our schedule, you could easily see that this is the best time for our off week. It doesn't make sense to schedule it any other time. It has very little to do with LSU.

LSU fans are not the most bipolar people on the planet, but LSU posters may just be.

Is it me or was last year even more hyped up than this year?
This is the first time in a long time that it feels like a normal game for Alabama while LSU is treating it like their Super Bowl.

Yep. This game will get much more hype next week. LSU may rise in rankings after this weekend. If AU and Wisc win, maybe more will realize LSU is only two plays away from being undefeated, with 1-play losses to two highly ranked teams, early in season when offense was stagnated under Miles & Cam. LSU has a lot of momentum and energy. Fornette just had a huge wow performance. LSU is loaded with talent. It's a huge game!

Once can be blamed on autocorrect.

A second might indicate sloppiness on the part of the poster. But then you did this...

Why? We don't have to beg.

Four of seven kind of ensures the attention.
