Man, just about any town on the planet has decent enough places to make one night stay ok. There's a couple of nice places to eat in Montgomery downtown and a couple of cool bars if I remember right. Damn, it's not like you're moving there.

The only time Momtgomery is truly miserable is in the summer. Hot as frick. Just like Tuscaloosa.

Montgomery is not a bad town. used to travel there for business and had some great clients. decent restaraunts for such a small city. the smell you refer to may have been a paper mill which isn't far away.

I wouldn't want to live there but I damn sure wouldn't want to live in college station either.

You're in Montgomery you dumb frick. But even with that said, I'd rather live in the heart of the projects in the gump than live in that backward arse cum guzzling town called College Station.

Dude.... You live in Alabama...I mean.....come on. A-La-Bama. Your state is probably only second to Mississippi in inbreeding (that's for another thread, another day). Your entire state's population has family trees that only go up and down with very few branches. Yet, you want to talk about "backward"?

Railyard Brewery downtown near the baseball stadium is good. Try to enjoy the stay....but Bama does generally suck other than Birmingham.

Montgomery does smell sometimes. Must be the river, or all the AU fans
