Easy now. We are welcoming them into the SEC. A prison rape isn't necessary, just ordinary rape will do.

It's been a while but here is the last time Mizzou prison raped Bama. Enjoy smartazz.

Missouri 20, Alabama 7 (1975)

After the game, Bear Bryant was both gracious and incredibly humbled.

"They kicked the hell out of us. What more can I say?"

"I think we were pretty fortunate not to be beaten worse. They beat us worse than the score indicates."

"All in all, it was a good old sound country beating."

I don't think that would count.

Are you saying it was consensual?

Midpoo has 4 total seasons of 11 or more wins, going back to 1890. OU has 27

OU is 66-22 all time vs Midpoo

OU is 20-2 in the last 22 games vs Midpoo

Will OU or Arkansas be a bigger rivalry for Missouri?

OU owns the series record.

That having been said. Given what each team seems to be bringing onto the field this year we may be looking at the last few times Arkansas played Texas.

Where a decent, at best, Arkansas team named their score and beat the holy hell out of their opposition. Mizzou should be really good next year. Oklahoma looks to be, well, not spectacular.

If Missouri doesn't wear Oklahoma out like a cheap rug then it would be cause for concern. If the stars align right for Missouri they have a shot at the CFP. No one is saying that for Oklahoma. And that isn't to insult Oklahoma who has a fantastic heritage in football.

Arky doesn't want to come out and play, or play very well anyway. When they decide to GAF about us, maybe we'll have something.

OU has owned us historically, I admit, but that's the past. They owned just about everybody in the Big 8 in the 70s and 80s. This will be a good rivalry, and our game in CoMo this year will be a tough ticket to get.

You might be underestimating OU's team a bit. They have a chance exceptional this year defensively given the number of guys they have returning and another year in the system. And they have at least a couple of guys in Bowman and Stutsman that are all SEC caliber players.

Offensively, they have huge question marks on the offensive line, but they are really good at wideout. RBs and QB are promising but not proven.

If OU gets to the Missouri game with two losses or fewer... it'll be a dogfight. But if OU goes down to Tennessee, Auburn, and Texas... then you'd have to think Mizzou would likely win that game with room to spare.

As a Mizzou fan I confidently assume OU isn't overly concerned about playing Mizzou and losing this year.

Why would that be cause for concern I'm curious? Do we have bad players or something?

Trust me when I say I am no fan of the dirt burglars and will never root for them to win at anything. Having said that, you're either drunk on tigeraid or vastly underestimating the type of athletes blowU pulls in. You may indeed win the game, but overlook them at your own peril.
