Absolutely. Auburn plays tough at home. Great game day atmosphere. Generally nice fans.... too much puke orange for my taste but hey, they support their team well. No problem with any of that.

I just think they have a trash problem. Not sure why that's so hard for some of these barners to understand.

That's the iron bowl. Trash on the ground was likely thrown there by bama fans. It is a natural light box after all.

We also used to have beautiful oak trees, but you poisoned them because you were sad after losing.

Georgia did too. Auburn may, but I haven't noticed. Alabama has a trash problem of a different kind, but I don't think you need photographic evidence for that.

Have you ever seen LSU's parade grounds after a game? If your campus doesn't look like post-WWII London after a game, your fans aren't drinking enough. Inmates will clean it up on Sunday, it's okay.

Absolutely, wish you had some. It's sad to see you keep repeating your failures in logical argument. Your responses equate to nothing more than the equivalent to "you're a bammer, and thus you suck" "hahahaha" and "you're stupid" when that doesn't do anything at all to refute my argument. That's why it's weak sauce.

You COULD post a photo of the atmosphere, the fans, the grounds, the landscaping, historical facts about the design, some quotes about how nice other people think JH is, etc etc etc. But you don't even have the smarts to do that.

I completely agree. I used to date a bama fan and went to a couple of games even sat in the student section a few times. I was always unimpressed by how many students left during the game. I was there for the 2010 iron bowl in the student section and remember it being not very loud compared the Jordan hare. There is no doubt bds looks a whole lot nicer though

One day we will cover up the exterior to actually look nice, improve cncessions, and install a sound system that is actually worth a shite, but not this day!

OP, glad you had a good time besides the outcome

I've always enjoyed my visits to JH. Although for me, it is always a family oriented experience, since I have several auburn alum family members. That being said, I've always had a good time with their fans, and the stadium experience has alway been a lot of fun.

Leave to one alabama fan to come and piss on a parade.

There's 15,000 students lined up and barging in at once 2 hours before kickoff against Alabama so of course there's going to be trash on the ground. We have one of the few student sections in the country I imagine that lines up by the thousands 3 hours before kickoff waiting for the gate to open

I agree, it is under rated as for loudness. I'd put it ahead of the Swamp at this point. Definitely louder than Bryant Denny.

Never a bad seat at Georgia?

You must have never sat in the "Tech deck". I'll never go back to sit up there. It's like being on a geosynchronous satellite in orbit.

Just ignore him. His argument is shallow and pedantic.

I don't know why he's complaining. This is job security for the bammers.

The bones of JHS is a little dated and could use some more amenities. What makes JHS a great game day atmosphere is in the stands not in the concrete. Having been to 99% of the games there since my freshman year in 1994 I can say with honesty that game day during big SEC games like LSU and Alabama or Georgia are an order of magnitude greater than what we get play crap non-conference games or the low tier SEC schools like Miss State. There is a charge of electricity in the air that is totally different. Luckily or unluckily depends on how you view it but LSU always gets top notch output from the fans. That is IMHO a sign of the respect the fans have for your program. I wish we could bring it like that for every game. Gameday is always great at Auburn, but LSU in town makes it even better.

Yeah i agree. A few more minor upgrades will go a long way. The concession suck in Jordan hare, that was the only thing that i would concede was better at bds to my girlfriend , they had pretty good hot dogs.

And Alabama's campus is way dirtier than Auburns. Trash was everywhere the games i went to

this guys gets it... The opposing teams add in a lot of the flavor of a game day experience. The home team fans are also jacked up and work to make an impression.

I have been to half of the SEC stadiums. Just witnessed an incredible experience at Oxford. They are all different and great in their own way.

That being said, y'all do just love hating on Bama don't ya. . We do have a lot going on on game day. Tailgate on the quad which, for a big game, is still junior to the Grove. We also have a pretty good strip of bars that are an easy walking distance to the stadium. Downtown for good food and more bars.

A big game atmosphere in LSU is probably tops in my book. Tiger stadium when the lights are on is a very awesome experience. I have been fortunate to experience some great games there, and every time Bama shows up we get their A game.

I have been to two Auburn games. 2003 and 2011. I was never in a moment of awe, but that is probably because the stakes were not very high or because Auburn fans knew who was the better team(2011).

Just came from Oxford. Everything about that experience is very quant. The town, the campus, the stadium. They do that really well. The Grove is awesome and fun. just making my way through all of it was fun. Stadium was not loud, but the experience is still very much awesome. I was the guest of some Ole Miss people so my UT Longhorn GF and I decided to take in the scene and run on the field. I feel very fortunate to be able to have taken in their experience of beating a top ranked team.

rant over. just wanted to share MY OPINION on my experience at some select games. luckily, every away game I go to is always a jacked up experience. I wonder why that is........
