Vidic...you are out thinking this. I guess it would be stupid for him to improve on a skill that needs improvement...and he needs no improvement in the running department. amirite?
Yeah, I probably am outthinking this. But why fix something that isn't broken? JFF opened up passes with his legs. If the coaches have him working in the pocket more, will this not limit his best play making ability?

I predict at least 50 more threads before August just like this one...

Oh look, it's this thread again.

I'm looking forward to watching him play this year. He's fun to watch about like cam was. I doubt he crashes and burns

Super crash implies much lower numbers and several more losses.
Look at our schedule, even being liberal its tough to find more than 3 losses. Its also tough to find many defenses that can limit Manziel. Id be shocked if he wasnt great again.

Educate me. Do y'all think he's capable of doing this if he had to?
Posted on 3/28/13 at 1:20 am to Vidic
thats exactly why he has been practicing throwing inside the pocket more often during spring ball

Let's see. Yes. He's already proven he is one of the best at taking off when he needs to. However, what you don't understand is there were many times where he took off too early when he had guys open down field. When he improves that part of his game it will be scary. But in your previous threads, you were implying that he wouldn't use his run skills because he would just sit in the pocket which is logically not the case. Its not one or the other...most QBs just arent good at both. BTW, did you really think JM would just sit in the pocket until he got sacked?

I find it hilarious that he's missing a shirt

No. I guess I just assumed from that the coaching staff was putting more emphasis on the passing game. That's faulty logic though.
In my drunken stupor, I guess I'm ultimately asking if y'all believe he can can completely take over through the air if the running game is lethargic. Did he do it this past year? I can't remember. Any practice film on his passing improvements or anything? I know it's sometimes hard to tell here, but I'm honestly just looking for more info, and I'm too fricking lazy and into this whiskey too much to find it out myself.
